The latest news we have on Nyangoma Kabarole came from Pat Nickson who was in Nairobi on 16 October, she writes: When I arrived, Nyangoma looked very sick indeed. She had just had her intra peritoneal dialyses tube removed, was in a lot of pain, with nausea and vomiting. However, she was getting some good intra-venous nutrition. By the next morning she was feeling a little better, and by this morning she was a different person! She is still very frail, but is joking, working (!) - at least in her head, and planning ahead. She had her first haemo-dialysis today, and will have it repeated 2-3 times a week until all the infection has cleared and she can have the tube re-inserted.
